Cara Instal Opl Di Hardisk

Ps2 Slim Opl
Cara Instal Opl Di Hardisk Pro
Opl Ps2
I've got a fat PS2 with a 500gb internal IDE hard drive.
I set it up using a HDD image that included 48bit HDD OSD 1.10 and preinstalled applications. The applications are launched by selecting an icon in the HDD browser. This works great, except that it came with OPL 0.9.1 and I wanted to update to OPL 0.9.2.
I've copied OPL 0.9.2's ELF file onto the hard drive - but the only way I can launch it at the moment is to run it through uLaunchELF. I'm familiar with FreeMCBoot/FreeHDBoot and I know I could install that and add a shortcut to the OPL ELF in the FHDB menu, or even get it to launch OPL automatically, but I was just wondering how to add OPL to the HDD browser?
However I launch it, my main problem is that when I do launch OPL I can't get it to save settings or create a VMC. I've found that if I plug in a memory card or a USB flash drive it will use those to save settings, although not create VMCs. I would like it to use the hard drive for everything, however it doesn't seem to want to save any data on the HD. How do I get it to do this? I read somewhere about creating a partition called OPL and that it will use that for themes, artwork, VMCs, etc. however I have created that partition and it doesn't populate it.
Any help?
