Unofficial Multipayer Mod. Just Cause 2 has an unofficial multiplayer mod that allows you to play with other players and cause chaos in Panau. The JC2 MP is not yet released but there are public betas that you can find on JC2-MP website. So far only purchased Steam copies of the game can run this mod and they do not plan to make it on Xbox.
The cheats below apply to all versions of Just Cause 2 unless otherwise noted.
Just Cause 2 Money Cheats
There are a few ways to earn quick cash in Just Cause 2:
- Navigate to X3632, Y31521 on the map and complete the base jump event for an easy $20,000.
- After completing the Roaches Stronghold mission, you can navigate to X3402, Y15504 and complete another easy base jump event for $20,000.
- Every race rewards you $20,000 regardless of the difficulty, so you can repeat the same race over and over to rake in some quick cash.
Earn Easy Stunt Points
Get in the sports car outside the entrance of Panau International Airport and drive it to a runway. When a plane appears overhead, move into stunt position and latch onto the plane with the grappling hook. Then, get back in the car and prepare to take flight. As long as you hold on, you'll keep accumulating points.
Infinite Ammo
- For infinite rocket launcher ammo, travel to X20443, Y31188. Obtain the rocket launcher from the temple, then destroy the boxes in the building next door to collect ammo. Leave the area and come back to continue stocking up.
- For an infinite supply of C4 and grenades, travel to X17342, Y4196 and check out the lower deck by the water. Leave the area and come back to keep stocking up.
Land Safely Without a Parachute
While free falling, grapple the ground to land safely without the assistance of a parachute.
What is Mercenary Mode in Just Cause 2?
After completing the main story, you unlock Mercenary Mode, which allows you to continue playing and go after any achievements you may have missed.

Although the game represents your progress as a percentage, it's not possible to obtain 100 percent completion in Just Cause 2 without the assistance of a mod.
The Lost Island in Just Cause 2
The first time you fly over the island located in the far northwest corner of the map, your plane will automatically crash. Fans of the show Lost will notice that this island is actually inspired by the popular TV series. After completing a brief mission, you can find several resource packs around the island and even investigate a hatch from the show.

At X7392, Y16151, you'll find a hot air balloon. Hop inside and shoot off the sandbags to take off. Steer by waking around in the basket.

The racetrack is located at X9170, Y11413. Here you can participate in numerous challenges where you race against the clock to reach designated checkpoints. You will fail if you drive too slowly or leave the mission area; however, you will not fail if your vehicle is destroyed, so you can pick up another vehicle to finish the challenge.
The Mile High Club
If you want to see something interesting, fly to X29584, Y11435 or X27272, Y9999 to see a gentleman's club in the sky.
Blow Up the Beached Whale
You can blow up the beached whale located at X29611, Y31332 with an explosive to uncover a hidden armor piece.
Just Cause 2 Mods Grapple Infinite

To destroy the oil rig, you must destroy all of its components including the gas tanks and the crane. An easy way to accomplish this is with the G9 fighter plane equipped with auto-cannons, If you die after destroying part of the rig, you must restart the mission to complete it due to a glitch.
